This special distinction was awarded to a personality who has made a decisive contribution to the development and dissemination of contemporary art in Italy throughout his career.

This 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award was won by Tomaso Binga for his pioneering contribution to Italian artistic research, particularly in the field of visual poetry and performance. His practice, characterised by an innovative use of language and a strong feminist commitment, has anticipated themes and modes of expression that are today central to the contemporary debate, influencing generations of artists and opening up new avenues in the experimentation between word and image.

The award was accepted by the director of the Madre Museum, Eva Fabbris, with her nephew and president of the Tommaso Binga Archive, Angelo Vassallo.

During the event, all the winners of the thirteen categories up for grabs were announced, involving the entire spectrum of players in the sector: from artistic practices to curatorship, from public institutions to private foundations, from galleries to independent spaces, up to companies investing in cultural projects and the relationship between art and fashion. The winners were selected by a prestigious Selection Committee, chaired by Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo and including leading figures from the art world such as Enea Righi, Luca Lo Pinto, Mariuccia Casadio, Bruna Roccasalva, Andrea Bellini, Alessandro Rabottini, , Pierluigi Sacco and Maria Luisa Frisa.
