Rosa Panaro in Gli Anni, capitolo 2

-

Curated by Eva Fabbris, the exhibition project Gli anni [The Years] continues its investigation into the recent history of art in Naples through an in-progress narrative structure. Drawing inspiration from the poetics of Annie Ernaux, the curatorial framework presents the artwork as a device of resistance against the dissolution of memory, transforming aesthetic data into a collective and historiographical chronicle.

The exhibition unfolds through a path that rejects chronological rigidity in favor of a transdisciplinary palimpsest, where the Madre museum’s permanent collection dialogues with significant public and private loans. In this second chapter, the narrative is articulated through specific moments, including an entire room dedicated to the research of Rosa Panaro, whose practice is re-examined within the context of artistic developments in Campania over recent decades.

Eva Fabbris’s curatorial methodology aims at a reactivation of museum heritage, integrating historical research with the vitality of the present.
