At the Castello di Miradolo, from 22 March to 22 June, the exhibition ‘Di erbe e di fiori. Erbari d'autore. Da Belser e Penone, da De Pisis a Cage’ with over thirty works including installations, sculptures, paintings, historical herbaria and experiments with natural materials, such as pollen, flowers and herbs, exploring the link between art and nature. 
Also on display are works by Giuseppe Penone, Filippo De Pisis, Wolfgang Laib, Piero Gilardi and Betty Danon, and herbaria by Basilius Besler, Carlo Allioni and Ada and Alfonso Sella.

The exhibition investigates the human need to classify and measure the world, the fragility of matter and the connection between nature, memory and art. Over 30 works from private collections and museum institutions offer a reflection on the relationship between past and present, reality and imagination. The works range from installations, sculptures and paintings to experiments with natural materials such as pollen, flowers and herbs.
The exhibition is curated by the Cosso Foundation and Roberto Galimberti, with iconographic advice from Enrica Melossi. Sound installation by Avant-dernière pensée.
