The gallery is pleased to announce the participation of Tomaso Binga and Rosa Panaro in the exhibition Tragicomica, Prospettive sull'arte italiana dal secondo Novecento a oggi, bringing together over 130 artists for a survey of Italian cultural production from the post-war period to the present day.

The exhibition — presenting more than 300 works across painting, sculpture, film, theatre, architecture and literature — explores the ironic dimension of Italian culture: that tension between the tragic and the comic which runs through the history of Italian art and which philosopher Giorgio Agamben described as a "stubborn anti-tragic intention." A thread rooted in Dante's Comedìa and extending into the contemporary, weaving together high culture and popular register.

The inclusion of Binga and Panaro forms part of a broader itinerary that offers a layered, non-canonical reading of Italian art history, acknowledging the contribution of artists whose practice has placed this tension at the very core of their vision of the world.
