biography

Stanislao Di Giugno was born in 1969 in Roma (IT), where he currently lives and works.

His practice involves installation, sculpture, collage and in the last years he is entirly addressed to painting.
The artist is interested in exploring the physical characteristics of materials, paying attention to characteristics such as volume, shape and size.
The result consists in abstract and geometric forms that inform his imagination, to be then used in a repetitive manner.

Stanislao Di Giugno's exhibitions at Galleria Tiziana Di Caro

The first solo exhibition by Stanislao Gi Giugno at Galleria Tiziana Di Caro was in 2008 an it was a double solo show with Alessandro Piangiamore, entitled Luogo Comune. The second solo show was one year after: LandEscape. In 2012, at Galleria Tiziana Di Caro in Salerno, Stanislao Di Giugno curated a group show featuring 11 artists entitled Reality Show.
The third solo exhibition by Stanislao Di Giugno at Galleria Tiziana Di Caro, which was even the first in the Napoli venue was entitled Deserted corners, collapsing thoughts (2016).
